Show your skills on camera

Postby TheSkyer » 12 Mar 2009 9:30

I thought it would be a cool idea for those of us who own a camera or webcam to show how you pick some of your locks. This way everyone can benifit from your skills and personal touch.

I myself got it on with a MASTER triggerlock today. It was very nervous to pick this on camera so please excuse the somewhat amatueristic nature of this video.

It is unfortunate that my only video is of the ABUS Plus picking and advanced material, so I can't/won't link to it in here :(

Hmmmz, I didn't really consider that advance picking techniques may best not be shared with everyone. We'll see how it goes i guess, hope we can still get some simple lock demonstrations in this topic.

I just watched your video. I enjoyed it and didn’t think it was amateur at all. Not owing a video camera or webcam I won’t be able to contribute. But hopefully there will be others who will pitch in as I think it’s a great idea. Thanks for your contribution to the “let’s put a face with a name” post. I like Kees and think it’s great you rescued him. :)

I whipped up a quick video for this thread:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cwo03ys9ZNA

I talk a bit about my favorite way to deal with security pins (like spools) and also about the special features of the Zeiss Ikon Sperr-Rippenprofil. If anything is unclear, please let me know and I'll try to help out.

Thanks, glad you like the idea. As for the face topic, good initiative. I also like to see the person behind the name ;)

Great job JK, you are the man! I like the Peterson pry bars as well. They came with the Peterson set I got and I bought the flat five as well. You make it look so easy but I know better. One day I'll be that good.....maybe :)

nice job :)

Of course, if you keep holding your locks upside-down, they will get sea-sick ;)

He's probably one of those secret agent kinda a people who have to pick locks upside because he's suspended by a rope over the floor which is presure sensetive. Gotta practice those situations aswell XD

that was quick, didn't even know you could pick a dimple lock like the with a half diamond. I always just use a dimple rake... nice job man, what was it classified as 6/10?
