Made in china

Postby laf » 12 Mar 2009 23:16

Ive bought a cheap lock that looks exactly like the master 930 but it has 6pins. This padlock is driving me crazy! It seems like there is no binding pins even if I put alot of tension on my TW. I know the basics of lockpicking. Any help would be great
thanks

try reverse picking ie lifting all the pins up then loads of tension and slowy letting them fall back down might work!
good luck

good tip thanks! It worked on my other locks.
I found the problem with this lock, there is too much friction between the plug and the lock so I have to apply tension in the middle of the plug for the plug to turn just a little bit. Cheap lock lol

thanks for your answer

i would try picking it with the shackle open first...the rotational return springs in most 930 knockoffs(that i have picked) are very strong, and you may be battling just that.
