Recommend me a lock

I'm looking for a lock that is operated by a keypad. It doesn't need to be super-high security, but I'm looking for a decent lock. It can be either mechanical or electronic. I don't quite have a price range yet. I've included pictures of the door it will be mounted on below. The keypad will be mounted on this side:

As you can see, it's on a fairly cheap door. The vent was poorly installed, and the door isn't perfectly square. I've recommended a new door, but that is not an option at this point in time. As you can see, the door is a little bit less than 2 inches thick.


Any suggestions are appreciated.

For that door with an interior application any of the Schlage models available at your hardware store would work fine. $100 to $150 price range.

I agree with freakparade3, a Schlage BE365 would be a good choice. I have had four for a year now and put them on 3 other houses and they don't have any problems. They are based on the commercial schlage cobra locks. You can find them on ebay shipped for $85. Just make sure they are new. If you want to buy them retail then Lowes is the cheapest. Also, since the key override is a low security 5-pin Schlage, i cut off the tailpiece so it can not operate the lock. Obviously do this at your own risk and make sure to change the batteries every year. If lockout does occur you can very easily drill straight through the cylinder and open the lock and then just buy a replacement cylinder.
