mine should be here tomorrow. i am excited to hear how you went about getting it picked how did you tension? top or bottom? did you set the sidebar first? my lock will have no key,as i got it for 10 buck on ebay... did it take you long to nail it? great stuff getting it open! reach around and give yourself a pat on the back.=) well done.

ok, i nailed it...open in a few minutes. i was really expecting much more of a challenge. (i guess finding a blank will be the REAL challenge =/ ) also, i looked under the shackle for a retaining screw...there isn't one.. the core appears removable, am i wrong?

congrats to you, opened mine tonight at least 20 times, longest time 23 secs just seem to push the last and second last pins and round she spins, they are a 9/10 rating over here and cost £35. i thought i was just lucky but evidently not, had more hassle with an abus,anyway good for you.
What type of assa cylinder does the lock have installed in it? Is it an assa twin, v-10, SCD 7 pin? Let us know what cylinder you picked . Nice job picking if the cylinder is any of those listed.

not sure,but it seems to have six pins plus some side pins..i will post pics as i learn a bit more about this lock... the sidebar appears to be a passive element. i will gut it out and snap some pics. any identifiers/descriptors that i should know of? thanks, awol.

My assa sidebar locks are still closed, so maybe my tools are all broken. I haven't read anything that suggests the ruko is anything but hi-sec. Very cool roxy.
