Security Dr Retractable Laptop Lock by Digital Innovations

Hello all,


I am new to this forum, but a long time lock hobbyist. I have spent the day with the above mentioned lock, tasked with the goal of trying to open it without brute forcing the combination.

I've seen tricks with wafer-style bike locks where the wafers will show a little gap when the right number is selected, but that doesn't seem to apply here. I have now brute forced the lock so I can see the inner workings, but there don't seem to be any vectors to pick or shim open that I can see.

Anyone familiar with this lock and perhaps able to help shed some light on the subject? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

This is a picture of the lock, I'm almost 100% certain that it should have the usual sesamee shimming flaw.

Or you can spend 10 - 15 minutes and go through every combination to open it

Always makes me chuckle when I see someone with 1 post asking about stuff like this.

It's always about a lock on something that is the last point of security between theives and the item.
