ICL cylinders

Postby Rickthepick » 23 Feb 2010 8:37

Anyone found that the ICL anti bump cylinders are really poorly made. I fit one in a door and when checking the door works from both sides found that the key was very sketchy in one side (not good enough to put in a customers door).

so i swapped it for another i had and found this one to be really tight in the 180 positions.

neither were used on the job and are as good as scrap as far as im concered. Had them ages now but havent come across that size for a while.

id send em back if i had the receipt handy.

nothing special mate i think they spray some gunk in there to make the pins stickier which is why i think they feel crappy.

after wd40 and picking theyre pretty freed up and a pretty easy pick.
