mult-lock knockoffs with change keys

ordered some mult-lock chinese knock offs that come with A and B keys.

if at any point you decide to use B keys, A will no longer work

il dismantle one when they arrive lol

Is this similar to the Mul-T-Lock change system? Use the green keys, change to yellow keys, change to red keys, with each level being not compatible with previous levels?

I believe it actually snaps a small bit off of the keypins when you use the next key.

I'm pretty sure thats the 3 in 1 system as they call it.

the inner pins are serrated and the cuts are such that the next generation of key snaps the inner pin

The quality of these locks are as expected. pretty cheap and nasty however i havent picked one yet. Not that iv spent more than 5 mins though...
cams are not offset with the locks body and lock looks easilly snappable due to the cheap grade of brass used

heres a pic of the keys. the blue is the original. the black is the rekey. I can only see a difference in the last cut


Im gonna go rekey one now. Im expecting the lock to break at that point lol.... wel see

no. I was wrong.

It worked VERY well.

sounded as though a couple pins/ballbearings dropped away inside the lock somewhere

still in good working order
