Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

I recently picked one of these up new and cheap off of eBay. After playing with it almost non-stop I feel that this is a perfect lesson in simplicity. These locks are amazingly simple. Shackle, ball bearings, core, set screw, body. No springs, nothing complicated or fancy. Key retaining by design too. Anyone else feel this way?
I'm going to see if I can drop the core out and put some nice pictures up later this weekend maybe.

The design is simple and quite elegant.
May I suggest keeping our post "clean", here in the open forum. Disc detainers are considered high security and thus restricted.
Feel free to PM me to discuss, in detail, the inner workings.

Oh, so we can't post pictures of it? Or discuss manipulating it? I thought it was the later.

No.... we CAN post pictures of breakdowns, but the discussion of manipulation/picking is forbidden here.

Okay. I just want to be clear, I'm not interested in picking this. Looks like a beast even with a Classic key profile.

The 350 is supposed to be pretty hard. I've been playing with the 330 no such luck yet. I believe i may have been bidding against you for this lock on ebay if it went off a few days ago? Any ways pictures would be good I'll be working on posting a pic of my 330 it would be nice to compare the two to see the difference.

If you are talking about the one that sold for $67 then yes you were. I'm also bidding on the othe one he has for sale. Hopefully it won't cost me as much.

Ha... actually, I just bought one for that price as well: you might have been bidding against me instead. Protec keyway?

Nope, it was a classic. 350, new, classic keyway. Beastly lock.

Josh did you see the locks with 5 keys. I'm wondering if all 5 keys operate both locks.

Scratch that, I saw them. It appears that one lock has two keys and the other lock has three.

Scratch the scratch. I was looking at a different listing. All the keys look like they are bitted the same, so they should work on both locks.
