Weird Lock

I apologize if this sort of lock has been talked about before but I've found this odd Master Lock that has a jagged shaped hole for the key that rotates so the tension wrench can't get caught. Does anyone know anything about this type of lock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That might be a warded padlock.

Based on the OPs' illustration, mention of the lock being Master and description of keyway, good chance the lock is a warded type.

A photo of the keyway would be nice, though.

Yes! That's it. Thanks a lot. I'm reading through the thread now but any more information you think I should know would be greatly appreciated.

These things usually bypasses easily. Though there are some with maybe some weird offset keyway that a standard warded pick set may have trouble working in smoothly.
