Master Speed Dial Combo Locks

Postby JK_the_CJer » 9 May 2010 3:49

Be advised: The crazy new Master combo lock with the joypad on it that mh did all that work on is available at Home Depot in the US (at least CA) right now. Observe:

Datagram and I went here:

Then exclaimed omg!

Further inspection suggested an epic win:

All you have to do is give Home Depot this, and they give you that lock: capitalism rocks!

And then you can practice moves like this while opening your gym locker:

Hahaha, while practicing the Mortal Kombat moves, you can also (optional) exclaim 'GET OVER HERE.'

These are considered advanced, right?

have they addressed the shimming issue with these locks? I would probably get one to use when i work out instead of carrying a key around for my american. that's if they cant be shimmed.

@datagram

How do you enter (A) or (B) on a Master Speed Dial? It would be really cool if someone made a lock that actually used a video game keypad as its input device

No, even better. The lock comes with a sheet of stickers with various shapes/colors/letters you can put on the lock to make it easier to remember your combination. A and B are definitely accounted for.

from a collector's point of view, I can report that some of these locks come with stickers and some come without :)
So there's 8 different US versions (4 colors, with & without stickers) and 4 Euro versions.

And then there are the prototype colors...

And the mh-cutaway versions, those are of course the most precious ones :)

Cheers

You're right mh, in fact mine is a bit different. As you can see from the post title I got it in France.

Cheers :)

So what is the official name for this lock? It seems every countries' packaging labels it differently: Axis / Speed Dial / One / etc.
