stuck driver pin

So I took my assa twin apart to put some more sidebar pins in and I found out that one of my driver pins is really stuck in the housing. Does any one have any ideas of how to get it out other than drilling a small hole in the top? I tried getting it really cold and then dunking it in boiling water but, that didnt work.

What style cylinder? rim/mortise/euro? Most ASSA Twins have a cover strip on top of the cylinder which EASILY slides off and then you can remove all springs and driver pins.

Can you take pics of it as well? that would help a lot.

Take a look at my cylinder, does yours look like this? that strip at the top can be slid out if you dig a screw driver or awl into it at a 45 degree angle and then push it back.

Vibrating the lock body with a soft faced hammer often frees up stuck pins and springs.

When you manipulate the pinstack is there a possibility that a spring is crushed and therefire wedging the driver pin?

ok ill come clean. on time i went to insert the key and it didnt want to go in so i forced it like an idiot and now its stuck.
