Does any one have any ideas of how to get it out other than drilling a small hole in the top? I tried getting it really cold and then dunking it in boiling water but, that didnt work.
What style cylinder? rim/mortise/euro? Most ASSA Twins have a cover strip on top of the cylinder which EASILY slides off and then you can remove all springs and driver pins.
Can you take pics of it as well? that would help a lot.
Take a look at my cylinder, does yours look like this? that strip at the top can be slid out if you dig a screw driver or awl into it at a 45 degree angle and then push it back.
