I have looked all around and can not find any information about this lock. Are there any security pins? and is this like master lock no.40?

Just looks like a beefed up no. 40 with a better shackle if you ask me... there might be spools in it, never picked one so I don't know. Can't you just, y'know, pick it and see? :P

Nah the 40 doesn't have any security pins... not only that, but if any of the cuts are very shallow you don't even need to set them. I have one with a 1 cut for the front pin and I don't need to touch it at all, quite a few people have said the same thing about them. I doubt the M50 is any better, but there's only one way to find out... and if nothing else, it'll look pretty on the shelf.

If you do decide to get one, try ebay first cos I saw the no. 40 in B&Q for £8... there's no way in hell I'd ever pay that much for a 5 second pick and neither should you! I'm sure that thing actually costs more than the 40 since it looks better, and we all know that looks mean everything when it comes to buying padlocks

Spools in them. Drilled two off a storage unit the other day. In before the "WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK THEM" comment - he was tossing them anyways and from 9 to 5 I'm on my bosses time, not mine.
