American Padlock Guidance - Which Cylinder

I've got a couple of padlocks already and these are my mainstay locks for storage, etc. Two Abloy 362 and two 330's.


What's a medium security lock that I would use on like rear fencing door entrances, etc.
In my research, looks like American 5200 fits the bill or their 3XXX series with IC cores.

Would be inclined to find either off the shelf or something easily DIY (IC Core - 3XXXX series padlocks) for a non lock enthusiast..

Local locksmith around me tends to be $$$ and even mailorder like securitysnobs for my Abloy stuff are quite competitively priced

Are you worried about them being picked or being cut, IMO your fence is more likely to be jumped or have the lock cut off then having the lock picked. you might want to invest in something with a shackle cover instead of something that is hard to pick.
