Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Think i may have some mt5's... but

Postby Rickthepick » 2 Sep 2010 7:13

I was given a load of old multlock euro's without keys.
They have a rounded plug face and have a sidebar cutout in the top on the housing.
Im pretty sure the locks dont have sidebars in them though although i havent fully investigated yet.
Pics to follow

Are any of the Garrison euro cylinders for sale?

I'm interested in 1 or 2, or maybe a trade. PM me please, thanks.

Yah..... looks like an MT5

Check out my cutaway, if you can see the little pegs in the keyway it's an MT5+

Looks like the cut for the sliders is not straight, which to me points to a +. Do they make a MT5 with variable height sliders? Or is it just a trick of the light in the picture that makes me think that cut is not straight?

Now I see - the cut for the sliders is covered by foil tape. :)

Thank you.
