MTL- Naming the components

I have spent some time on MTL since x-mas. Some open very easily, while others still resist me I have not been able to SPP yet, but rely on the HK-tool.

Also, when dismantling, I have discovered that there are many different pins. Both key- and driver-pins vary.

I have searched, but not found a complete overview of MTL and the different variations/generations. The purpose of this thread is to collect information on the lock. I will start out with the locks I have, and will try add as much information as possible. I hope that others can contribute with information and pictures.

Ahh..

Well, I don´t feel very smart right now.

But thank you for pointing me to the article. Very well written, indeed.

I took these pictures of the pins, which people might find useful for reference(or not at all, after that brilliant article )


However, as I am not allowed in the advanced forum, I am slightly frustrated.

I am working on a decoder/impressioning tool for this lock(not the MT5+). If anybody has experience on this, and would like to discuss via PM, that would be great.

i recently sold an mt5 pinning set on ebay and there were approx 50 differing components just for those...
I have some brand new mt5 cores that will fit those padlocks if you are interested. £7 each free postage (complete with keycards and 2 keys
