Last night I came across this old lockout lock at work and was going to throw it away when I decided that I could take it apart first and take pictures for anyone who wants to see what it looks like on the inside. Sorry for some of the blurry close ups but my camera doesn’t do good up close. I was surprised to find it had 6 pins, and all six had a security pin. 5 spools and 1 serrated. I was able to pick this lock before I took it apart and learned that the rekeying holes on the 180 degrees where opened and I ended up dumping the key pins into the lock body…. Woops and this is why we don’t pick locks that are in use So here are the pictures. Enjoy!!
“Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?”
