Identify Lock for Filing Cabinet Help?

I just bought this lateral filing cabinet and the lock number used to say "T 48" but it was drilled out. I removed the damaged lock and have pasted the picture below.

The assembly seems to be in tact. I just need the metal piece in the picture. If someone can help me identify the lock or point me to somewhere to buy a replacement that would work, I'd really appreciate it!

The Lock Dimensions are:
High: 13/16" (not including the moving part on top)
Wide: 1/4"
Long/Deep: 1 3/4"

We get occasional questions from members of the public and we try to provide useful answers, but please note we are hobby lock pickers, not a locksmith hotline . It would make more sense to call a local locksmith shop or office furniture reseller in your area if you want the correct part.

The lock you found looks like the direct replacement. Here's one on ebay which may work as well:

Any locksmith should have that in stock it is common enough. Should be $10-15

Agreed, this is probably your quickest option; any locksmith will either have some in stock or be able to order one in quickly. I had a friend with a similar problem, I think it cost around $15 for a replacement.
