Hi everyone-
I had a local locksmith modify some (Master brand) padlocks for me so that they could be opened with two different keys. (4 pin cylinder - Master M1 key blank). These locks now open with both the A723 key that they originally came with and also a different key that the locksmith told me is key number A819. However, I've ordered some additional A819 keys a couple different times now (thought the first time might have been a mistake), and the keys I get are a totally different key than the key that the locksmith gave me. The key he gave me is definitely not A819.
However, he thinks it is an A819. When I showed him the A819 keys that I ordered and how they were completely different, his response was "well I don't know what to tell you." That's the end of working with him.
So, I've got this single key in my hands. It does work in my dual-keyed locks like I want. It is cut on a Master M1 blank. And, the locksmith told me "the cuts on that key are 3621." With any of this information, does anyone know if it is possible to determine the actual Master key number for this key?
It is important because I need to order a large amount of locks that are keyed to this number, and I don't want to waste 3 grand getting the wrong key number.
Thanks!

A819 is not the cuts you posted. I don't need nor have access to the reverse code lookup program, but perhaps another locksmith has.

3621 = A122 If your lock is keyed to A122 and A723 then you can also use keys cut to codes: A321 A213 A257 A378 A723 A1429
The more master pins you get in a lock the more keys will fit that lock.

And that's why masterkeying is usually best to be left up to professionals that know what they are doing.

I didn't know you are allowed to post key code with actual cuts so if that is ok you can add 3621= 2064 and also add all those also cross key that fall into code series 1-3200.

Hi, i need to make a M1 key cut by the code on the back. The code is A1846. I can't find anyone willing to make it from the code online, do you guys have any idea? I am not sure but the depth code should be something like 6330 or 6440... maybe i can have a confirmation on this at least? Thank you in advance.

Where are you located? Any locksmith should be able to cut you a key by code. The code you reference = 6330 direct bitting.

Thank you for your answers. I'm located in Texas, Fort Worth area. I just wanted to buy it online and get it home all finished, don't ask me why Thank you for the code 6330, at least if everything goes wrong i can try to file a blank down by myself. I tried that website but , they charged me $21.33 for flat rate shipping???????? for a $2.75 key? Nahhhh too much. Isn't there any other website? I found and tried a website called etrailer.com but something went wrong with the order i placed and they didn't even bother emailing me to explain me so i gave up. Any advice is much appreciated.
Thank you!!!
