As for chains, some locks come with them. The person who sent the lock with chains was probably just including what was already on the locks.

The first one is a beauty, that's for sure. I love the difference in color depending on the alloys used. Is it possible to do a non destructive gut shot of these? Would love to see the internals.

That looks like a negative. They're all PACLOCK, a company that loves using long rivets to hold their locks together. The guts DO feel interesting though, as if there's a combination of deep and shallow cut spools. One in particular feels like it has two spool type cuts on one pin. (PACLOCK 100g chamber 1 ).

I've already modded other lock models to be rekeyable, maybe I can come up with something for these.

I have opened several of these lock and you could theoretically rekey the cores. Getting those cores back inside of a lock is the hard part. You would need some long rivits or just weld the old rivits to hold the lock together.

That first lock is a 95g model. (The new ones) Oct 2014.
I opened one up and posted it here. (A older one) probably 2008

I imagine it's the same on the inside... maybe just cheaper to manufacture with sold pieces riveted together.
