pacific lock keys

Postby BSG_314159 » 24 Apr 2015 5:49

So I'm trying to get some blanks keys to my 100g pacific lock and I don't know what key to buy. I bought some M15 from American key supply and they said the m15 is my key code.....

All my keys say m15

Am I wrong??

The bottom picture shows it as a Master 10D. I'd try a M10 blank.

Gordon, the blank on the bottom looks to be the reverse of the key on top.
I think M15 is the blank you need, you could also give Pac Lock a call and see what they say.

Hmm...
JMA MAS-10D = Ilco 1092R = EZ M15
JMA MAS-9 = Ilco 1092N = EZ M10

For giggles, try a normal M1 blank and see if it fits the keyway. If so, you just need the longer version which is M10.

I am willing to bet the OP's key is what the article described
"When you receive your “PL” laminated PACLOCK padlocks in an M1 KA, you’ll notice the keys are actually 5-pin in length. This was done intentionally to help PACLOCK cut down on stocking more blanks than necessary. This 5-pin key will work with your Master Locks."

So....

americankeysupply.com is telling me that I have the wrong information....

So basicaly the M15 on the website does not reference masterlock but Hillman and Curtis. I am trying to explain to them It needs to be a Master 15 or MAS 15 but I cannot find it on the internet anymore. I need to send them a freaking lock and telling them to start inserting freaking keys at this point.

I am trying to do some more research... if anyone that has a 100g and different blanks try and see if they work let me know.

I just picked up a box for the lock and it hit me. M10 is on the box. Do locks usually have the key number on the box?

M10 it is!
I wouldn't say it's common to have the blank number on the box, but when you get a Medeco or Schlage cylinder for example, the keyway is included in the part number label.
