Mul-T-Lock Chamber Stops

Does anyone know how to remove Mul-T-Lock chamber stops? I'm attempting to make a cutaway of one and I am befuddled on how to push what looks to be little steel ball bearings out. Anyone else successfully done this? I dont have pics at this moment, but I can add some later.

Upon reading this it sounds really vague. What I'm talking about is the stops for the pin chambers. They dont use screws like medeco or brass caps like other lock companies. It looks like a steel ball.

Would try to pick it and field strip the lock. Then use a wire from the plug side of the pin channels to punch out the bearing.

Good eye! I'd post some pictures but I don't know how long until it is going to be done. Just did some ordering. Hopefully mill the housing on Friday. Its funny, I'm scouring your videos on how to do this. I just rewatched your American cutaway vid for 10^n time.

By field strip you mean gut it? and that is a good idea. Hopefully I don-t scratch the inside too much since people might see it.

whelp. I did what I could with an allen wrench and a hammer, but I can not get that ball out.

I thought they were press fit pins, not balls, but anyway...

I now know what you are talking about... Drill protection Ball Bearings! This is the 3 ways i would tackle it...

First do you need to make cuts where the balls are?

next can you make a feature out of them?

last, sacrifice an old end mill... the hardened ball will chip it but the ball won't stay in the plug

The OP is referring to the plugs which are driven into the bible after the lock is pinned in the factory. I have dulled them out in a mill, using a 1.5mm drill bit. They are indeed ball bearings, but they are not hardened, so with patience you can drill through them, and then screw in a tiny screw to pull them out with.

You dont think I can mill barely into the ball an it stay there?
