EVVA DPI Sidebar Variant Photos

Postby adi_picker » 5 Dec 2017 0:34

Gday Guys,

Finally picked my EVVA DPI, the dual sidebar variant with the sliders, no drivers or springs. I didnt find much in the way of pictures, so I thought to celebrate I would take a few and throw them up here for everyone to take a gander at.

Image

Plug and the keyway, pretty standard for EVVA from what I understand, I have a few different models with the same keyway. Although it has lots of warding, the sliders run through everything so it isnt too constricted and can be picked from the bottom.

Image

Bottom of plug. Sliders ride in the square cutouts, and the springs for each in the round cutouts off to the side. You can see the cutout for the key control sidebar to the bottom.

Image

RHS of plug. You can see the cutout for the key control sidebar.

Image

LHS of plug. Cutout for primary sidebar.

Image

Top of plug. When assembled, you can see the tops of the sliders here, but they are captive and can only be removed through the bottom of the plug.

Image

The two sidebars. Left is the active primary sidebar and right is the passive key control sidebar.

Image

The sliders. This lock is mastered, so sliders 1,3 and 4 have multiple true gates. You can also see the very shallow, but difficult to pick out of false gates.

Hope this helps somebody guys!

Great images and captions.

Saw this thread wasn't getting enough love, so I thought I would leave a comment to say thanks for taking the time to do this!
