trying to repin a sesame padlock but have an issue

I'm very new to this. On this small format cylinder



there are holes where the key pins fall out of with the key in the unlock position. it is a pain getting it unlocked to replace the pins. I'm wondering the best way to handle this and what ultimaly keeps the pins in place ? the lock body? thanks!

The core will not turn that far (180 degrees) when assembled into the lock.
Don’t mess up putting your pins back in
