Strange pins on American Lock A1105

Postby Shigley » 2 Sep 2018 16:30

I recently got this box of A1105G, with date stamp QEL (Oct 2003) on ebay. When I picked them, I noticed they were easier to pick than other A1100 I have, my guess was because they were never used and didn't have particularly good bitting. When I gutted all of them I noticed some of them had master wafers and all the serrated serrated driver and key pins had shallow serrations compared to the other A1100s I have. The serrated spools look the same as standard ones. Could it be posible that someone master pinned them and replaced the factory serrated pins with knock off ones?
