Takes a lot of tension to open. The core was sticc and crunchy, even after spraying with WD-40 a few weeks ago. I could not SPP this lock. I secured it in a vise, used a torsion bar and a DIY cycloid and it opened pretty quicklg. Pete Sioux Falls, SD
