Ebike's battery lock ( Haibike Sduro, Yamaha motor)

Postby alexpan2004 » 3 Jan 2021 22:29

Hello guys!
I got a gift from my uncle in New Year's Day that it is a Haibike Sduro with Yamaha motor, that unfortunately comes with the problem that the battery is dead and he doesn't have the key to unlock it and recell. So it was more like 'If you find a way to make it work it's yours' type of gift. The bike is very nice and I started checking on the web about way to open it and I cannot believe the amount of YouTube videos and dedicated people on lock picking!!

The lock seems to be quite tricky, I would guess double wafer, but this is the reason of this post for you to check the pictures and guide me to guidelines or YouTube videos that you think are identical or close to this one:

I have already ordered a beginner's picking kit and I think I ll start this as a hobby because I really like it. If you have any advice on how to free the battery from the lock I would be grateful!

Thank you very much!
Cheers,
Alex
