I like to use a standard large paperclip, it's easier if you file an angle on the tip-- otherwise it's hard to get over the retainer. First you turn the key halfway around in the lock, then you should be able to see the retainer inside the hole. Push in the paperclip until it's depressed the retainer, then you should be able to just pull up on the key & the cylinder ought to come out. Make sure you reassemble the cylinder in the same place-- Once you remove the cylinder the latch can fall out, so watch for that if you move the lock body with the cylinder removed
