i have come across wink haus locks with 2 anti drill pins, 1 in front of pin 1 and 1 in front of pin 3, ive also come across them with 2 anti drill pins either side of and just in front of pin 1.
on the whole they do pick, though some have a nasty keyway, they have different grades of lock on the whole.

Some wink haus use side pins for master systems i think. London underground uses them on everything supplied by market lock and safe

If you come across hardened pins try to drill up to them then hook them out using a spike. If you leave them in they trap the drillbit and chew off the carbide tip. Well that is what my friend says as I wouldn't dream of using a drill (Honest!).

How do you pull out the pins, 79? Out through the hole you're drilling?

Through the hole you are drilling is correct. You will feel when you hit the hardened pins. Stop immediately you hit them and using a spike force the pins out through the drill hole. The walls of the holes the hardened pins are in will give way allowing you to pull them out.
