Lever Lock Help

Postby Exodus5000 » 23 Apr 2005 17:45

I've been scouring LP101 and google for information on how to pick a lever lock, but i've only seen minimal information on exactly how a lever lock operates, and how one would go about picking it.

If someone could direct me to a site or a page on this board that explains these concepts better I would be apreciative. I'm mostly looking to start with older lever locks. For example: http://www.motherofpearl.com/jpgs/MORTICE%20LOCK.jpg

the above will help as will below

viewtopic.php?t=7243

this explains the basic parts of a lever lock and the basic workings of the lock, also in the euro section read up on how to pick a lever lock using 2 in 1 picks.

the picture you have is of a simple pipe key lock , but the picking principle is the same[/url]
