master lock help me

i got this master lock it has 3 swivil things how do i pick this each one has a number on the swivil 1-9 and how doi get a combination

You turn each of the three wheels to each position in turn, and when the lock opens that is the combination.

Seriously though, the locking mechanim is made of plastic in a metal housing. All you have to do is hold a lighter to it while pulling down on the latch as hard as you can, which will disfigure the plastic (it will not be apparent from the outside.) These are not high-security locks, they are quickly bypassed using this method. Good luck.

This will work, just be sure to wear gloves because the hardened metal (to resist bolt cutters) conducts heat like none other, so make sure you don't burn yourself.

I just have to say it even though it's obvious: you could try out every single combination probably in about an hour. Just rent a movie and give it a go.

If it has 3 wheels you can try every combination in about 6 minutes. At least I can with the 3 wheel master combo lock that I have. That means that on average you can pop this puppy in about 3 minutes with a brute force attack. I think that collectively we've spent 25 times that amount of time talking about it. BTW, a 4 wheel will take upwards of an hour. This works on any lock that will allow constant pressure on the shackle and will pop open when the right combo is hit. Some locks protect against this and, thus, slow the process down considerably.

Right DB. I believe this lock does make it so that you have to release and add tension for each number--that's why I thought it would take about an hour. But as you say, we've spent way too much time on this already.
