http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/prod_search.pl?product_number=605&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

They Tell that this lock Can't be picked.
http://www.rainland.corp.com/Lock/Master_605_Picked.MOV

i know i'm new to that .. i'm picking for less than 3 day. then plz do not be rude about my getto "picking style"

but i have send a email to masterlock about that to let them know this lock can be picked .... (i hope it's the good thing to do :? )

Well about the lock .. i think they have put some mushroom pin (by the feeling i have of the pin) but i'm not sure ..

somebody have more information about that lock ? i have done a search with no result,

if you have information about this one or know a web site that can have that plz let me know !

Rain
P.S. this hobby is REALY nice.. i have found many info on this site and i think i will learn many more in the future! Great forum everyone .. #1 ..

I don't think they said it couldn't be picked (manufactures have been burned many times on such claims) but simply that it is 'pick resistant'. That is a nice vague term that really means nothing, but may indicate they threw in a security pin, added an extra pin (6 instead of 5, or somesuch) or made the keyway tight.

Nice video! I didn't see anything wrong with your picking style. Sorry, got no info about that lock. Great first post, welcome to LP101 :D

Nice vid and welcome to the site. Yeah, "pick resistant" is used to describe most all locks, because most people have no idea how to pick a lock or what really makes a lock hard to pick.

It's nice to see that your single pin picking it, shows you've already put some time into the hobby/sport. We always like to see picking videos, keep it up :D
