What is this?

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Vending machine lock. Looks like it could be electric, but I've asked around (and yes, I used the search button) and couldn't find much information.

De-hosted. Turns out it's one of these: http://www.ammagazine.com/AM/FILES/IMAGES/108768.jpg

There's got to be someone who knows what kind of lock this is. ;)

Thanks ;) Fun to know. It would be fun to get one and see if there's a way to defeat it if they weren't so danged expensive.

Looks likek Videx knocked off Medeco's Nexgen electronic locks. They look as if they can be bypassed very easily, they only have one pin.

If you knew how to get it to lift, yes. But it's behind the face of the lock which only has the electric sockets visible. You'd be stucking with drilling it, which is definately not non-destructive entry.

Not every lock is like the Winkhaus Blue Chip....
Maybe the pin isn't magnetic? You could also drill a hole and insert a pick and pick the pin if you aren't sure where the shearline is.
