I just got myself a Chubb BS3621 Cylinder Rim Lock can you give me some tips on how to pick this mother???????

Also how would you rate this lock to have on your door????

It's probably a 4l67 (part number from memory) with a Ava key - and I would suggest that you are wasting your time trying to pick it.

YEP FROM THE DESC ITS AVA WELL AROUND A MILL COMBS NOT A PICKIE IM AFRAID IF YOU DONT HAVE KEYS ITS AN ORNIMENT OR BRASS SCRAP REPLACE IT LIKE 4 LIKE OR A YALE 89 WILL FIT THE DOOR

may be an avva, or guardian, if so not going to pick it with normal picks im affraid, chris be made his own pick to defeat this lock and al from Zarg no doubt defeats it, but us mere mortals do not.

or is it a 6 pin X5 cylinder sold with a BS3621 latch set or sash case conforming to BS rating ?

I have had a couple of these that were faulty never had one to gain entry whats the plan if you had to gain entry on one of these as you say picking is out of the question. Can they be drilled easily? or is it a question of finding another means of entry. Sods law i will get one sooner or later so best be prepared
