New Octagon High Security 8 Pin Tubular Lock

Have anyone seen this new octagon tubular lock yet? If so any luck picking it with it with out this tool?

They have been around for a while. I forgot the name of the manufacture that was known for them but usally they can be rekeyed with a control key on the spot up to eight times. Peterson makes a pick for them. http://www.peterson-international.com/tubularlockpicks.htm

Thanks for the link, that funnel tubular pick looks good. I like that you can change the tips,only need one tool, and they do have the octagon tubular tip for it. darn thing is ugly but I have heard that its a very good tool.

It is a great tool for the ace II locks and such that the impressioning style picks fail to work on, but it takes more time to use. I have one and like it very much, but it hardly ever makes it out of the tool box . The interchangable tips are nice as are the replaceable probes. If you are working with standard tubular locks, stick with the impressioning style picks that you are using as they work much faster if you have a good technique. That is my opinion anyway .
