Sesame Locks anyone?

Ok so, is anyone familiar with these locks? If so, any idea how to pick its lock or know of any usefull link resources?

how many dials??

if there are 3 then start at 000, then do 001, then 002 and so on - you'll get it open fast.

4 dials will take longer, but the above methord still works.

Southern Ordnance's Sesamee decoder is another option. It's $9.95 (plus shipping), and I believe it can be used with other combination locks, not just Sesamee branded ones. I mention this because the other link provided by illusion was to a seller in England, and the poster of this topic might not live thereabouts. I do not own this product, but I plan to buy it in the near future.

to open a sesamee, look for street address, date or other related numbers, then start a 1950 and work forward to 2005 or do that from the other direction, these are the years most likely to be set as combinations for people who do not want to forget the number. a few years ago, I opened one someone brought to me, I started at 1950 and it wasn't till I got to 2000 that I started to feel some extra clicks when I push pulled it, (the lock opens when the comb is set and the shackle is pushed in then pulled out) it opened at around 2003 or 2004. If a lock is used daily, like on a bicycle, it could be any number, but if it is used infrequently, the number is likely to be set at a easy to remember, hard to forget number.

even if you are going to try every number, try 000 first, as its the factory set number, then start somewhere in the middle of the 1000 or 10000 possible numbers, (3 wheel and 4 wheel varients) as it is unlikely to be set at 005 or 093 or such. start at 400 and go to 700 then flip a coin on where to go next. in fact even if you intend to try every number, probably backwards from 999 is better than forwards from 000
