At our company we use Mauer cilinders, which are available in different degree's of security, from standard to very secure with brand patent and security card.

Some dealergroups have thier own brandnames, such as Oxloc and Ivana.

Some PVC doors have Pfaffenhain cilinders.

Anyone come across a make " E*S ". Came across one last night. Thought it might be a cheap and nasty thumbturn, but it gave me a bit of grief.

Loads of them in Bolton, i think they are Euro Spec as the factory is in Bolton.

I'm sure ES (Euro Spec as nhughz said), is one of the many different badges Walsall use for their cylinders. If so, Ive seen cylinders badged Keypsafe, WKS and ES, which, I think, are effectively the same.

If the cylinder is the same as the Keypsafe / WKS ones, they should pop open in under a minute with an average pick gun without a problem. You probably just got a stubborn one with a difficult key configuration.
