Removed from customers door and replaced with ERA. But what is it? I have seen a pic somewhere in the past that looked similar to this lock but age has crept up on me and I cant remember what brand. The forend plate only had stamped on it a BS kite mark (1980) - no manufacturers marks, nor did the keys.

yes its the old aldridge BS lock made by gibbons i belive, almost identical to the old ingersol and yale version, with levers similar to a legge, but heights differ to legge,

There was also one branded as 'Century' in black and possibly also red that looked identical.

Were anti-pick notches obligatory under the 1980 Kitemark?
