Alright, opening things with paperclips is pretty cool. I have been messing with them for a while and with some paperclips of various sizes, needlenose pliars( can be substituted for teeth, and a hammer( can be substituted with a fist, hehe) you can do some pretty neat things.
Here they are!

Now straighten them out the best that you can. Does not really have to be perfect, because they will bend so easily anyway.

here are some steps on how to make picks that have little handles. This is the kind i like to use, because with paperclips, when working with a bit of a more difficult lock, roatating left to right might be needed.

Example hook from straight to finished product

Simple way to make a tension rod, you know incase one doesnt know. Get a straightened paperclip and bend it in half, then bend rounded tip at 90 degrees, then twist the rest for support!

Now some fun variations that can be made by either adding a rubber band, or bending with pliars, or a dest drawer.

A PAPERCLIP SNAP GUN!!!! ( I use needle nose pliars to hold the paperclip, then i hold the rubber band in my mouth...sigh...then use my finger to snap up )

Now on to my favorite thing to make. AUTO PICK AND WRENCH.
First you must use a decent thick paperclip for this job. here is a pic of a decent size one.

Here is the wrench out of a paperclip. It works pretty well and i actually use it with My HPC lock set that i have. Why? because it works.

Now for the AUTO PICK it takes some bending and patients, for me it does at least.

Now to make it fit in the keyway, squeeze it together and go to the back of the lock. Then let it open and put your finger in between the two picks to push them against the wafers. Then pull out slowely. Usually i have to squeeze it again and put it back into the back of the lock and pull out again. Check out the picks of it squeeze to get an idea.

I take back the AUTO PICK being my favorite. My actual paperclip favorite is the stronge sturdy, PADLOCK SHIM!!!111
First make a U out of a paperclip. Then put it on somehting hard then hammer it flat. Then put it around needle nose pliars and hammer again to make round, or if you are skilled bend it with the pliars. Then you have a strong padlock shim. This works better for me then aluminum cans, and i guess equal to floppy disk slide thingies.

Alright here is a pictures of all the pics i made during this guide. Hope this helps some of you in some kind of way. I skipped the warded lock pick. It is easily figured out though. Have fun!! Oh can coming soon "Paperclip Tubular Lockpick Guide by Sams Choice". That one is going to be a favorite i hope.
