Ridiculous Master Padlock

Wow, I picked up that exact same lock as my first padlock to try and pick. You are, indeed, catching on a security pin. In mine, it's #3. Now that I've learned this lock's secret, it's stupidly easy to pick.

I want to see an archive of individual first-hand accounts of females besting guys at lockpicking. There must be at least 5 such accounts on this site. Someone please get these girls into the sport so we can start a women's league!

would my 13 year old daughter qualify for this not-yet-existant league? she's popped the deadbolt on our front door a few times. once in about 10 seconds.

Any way the master lock is easy to open, i am not boasting here just simply rake it open once or twice to get you confidence up..thats what i did, then begin to practice to sinlgle pin pick, you should get it soon enough good luck there buddy

a customer brought in a trailer with matching master #5 padlocks on it. one of our other guys fiddled with it until he got frustrated, then i asked if i (the new guy) could try, and i popped it in about 30 seconds. i tried the other one (same model, keyed the same, etc) for about 15 minutes and couldn't get it. the guy was in a hurry, so he asked us to jut cut the second one off.

tonight, i bring home the cut padlock (along with a master #230 padlock and 2 junk kawneer cylinders [one keyed as yale, the other keyed as schlage]) and in about 30 minutes, i had them all popped at LEAST once each. i did the #5 and the #230 twice.

i think that sometimes it depends on whether or not the wind is blowing the right direction and if you stick your tongue out the proper side of your mouth while picking. of course practice doesn't hurt either... so i've heard.

That is so true - My buddy has been learning, I keep telling him that there is no spoon, take your ego out of the equation and relax, but he gets super pissed at the locks (I pop open 6 in the time he takes to do 1) - he has me open the locks to be sure that they can be opened. Then he tries and is mad. So i have him put the stuff away until he is distracted and then he can do it. Its hilarious watching him though.

Ohh man i hear you buddy,, my one freind has a sentry lock box, he dared me that i couldnt open it because he spent 70$ on it.. i did he was like woooowwww, then he became interested, i thought him litel things, he poped the sentry you know the wafer lock then couldnt get my R70 and flipped, then he started talking about .. well you know the tempting part of the hobby Poof that was it never said another word to him about picking, that pissed me off becuase i tired to teach him and the arse wanted to lern to steal stuff, he's my buddy but i really wanted to deck him pretty good for wasting my time (not trying to be a tough guy we all have those moments )
