ok i am reppinnnig a lockwood 265/45 cylinder does it have spool pins and would it be possible to grind down existiong pins to make the new ones???

If the lockwood cylinder does have top pins that are spool pins, there's no real reason why you can't use 'em over again. After all, it's really only the bottom pins that you need to change in order for a new key to work.

There are a few exceptions, but overall I think you're worrying about nothing. Luke knows a fair bit about Lockwood cylinders.

thanks for the info i have re-keyed it and it works fine no spool pins the only security was the boron steel shackle it was a lockwood 234/45 and it is giant thatz really all i gotta say
