My apologies if there are already 1,000 threads about this, too -- it's not for lack of trying with the search function, but my search-fu is still developing

Let's say this is your standard key, a KW1 or similar:
- Code: Select all
__
/ \
_/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\__/ \
/==================== |
\___________________________/
Where the "=" are that indent in the side of the key-- I'm forgetting the name.
This is a key that I have seen:
- Code: Select all
__
/ \
_/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\__/ \
/ =^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^== |
\____________________________/
Where there is a second set of cuts that are sort of nested in that indented area. Sorry if I'm describing this poorly... it's hard to say without a picture.
What kind of key/lock is that? I'd really like to buy a lock with that configuration and try my best at picking it. Are special tools needed, or is it pretty much just another tumbler with an extra set of pins to pick?
