Southern Specialties is awesome.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

not so much there are over priced and tend to be pretty flimsy. If your just starting out go for the full size picks learn with the 'proper' garb or a home made set befor going towards the gimmicky stuff.

In that case how about their Lock Picking Simplified set or their 8 pick set ? I have made my own before from hack saw blades. i made a successful rake and tension. Saddly the rake was overheated when i was in the proccess of making it, and it broke off in a lock. Thank god for forcepts (< spelling, those things that doctors use like plyers )

comes with all the basics, it's cheap (cost wise) should do nicely as a learners set never got any product from this company so I cannot vouch for the quality but seems to be a good set.

You know i like this site, its great becuase they focus on hobby pickers and do it yourselfers.

H/E!

The spam form this sit eis rediculous, there was another thread jsut liek the first post but packed.

Its always the same low post count, but agin just a totally indepth look at the piece and how great it is.

I would belive it was someone excited about a good buy, but really that post looked like trying to boast there special orders.

Look for the Jackknife thread in here, and read all the indepth.. very spammy posts from people wiht like 5-7 posts.

I wont bash the company though, ther prices are indeed great i have never tired them, but i wouldn't mind placing an order.

But really that was spam. The way it was written just says, wow were great and we can custom make an order.

Just look at the jackknife thread and you'll see.

Well guys if you special order, make me some falles adjustables, and i will buy them.

Oh and a granite decode also

I figured i would test all these boastful claims, i asked them to make me some falles adjustables, and a granite decoder.

Lets see if they put there money where there spam is.

I will keep you updated on responce time and prices. This will be interesting.

Okay i talked to the owner. He was an absolute great person hands down.
He repsonded promptly literlly within 5 mins. Was a very nice man, and was open to my idea's.

I'm not spamming, but really this guy is a pretty alright guy, he is even offering a 20% discount to LP101 members.

My take on this company, Class A, becuase he is willing to listne to hobby pickers.

He does refure to make copies of picks that i said, but said that manual picks... which is my specialty can be made.

So guys i think i am can actually make my picks now. Sweet deal

I owe appologies to any rude remarks i may have made to this company... well more or less the spammer swhich is against rules.

The companies great and has my approval as far as hobby friendly and openness to ideas and opinions.
