I do realise the depths of many keys may not be exactly 999 but it was i figure of speach. Many people here use this term to explain it as the lowest cut possible made by manufactor or on a cutter.

Being that the pics you posted are not filed to the groove for the left ward but slightly above, means IMO could be filed deeper to the groove but not into it, hence a possible 888 cut to be specific. This could make a difference in bumping, yet it is only something you can consider (or not) in trying if there are still difficulties.
