Just looking for anyone that may be browsing from anywhere in Iowa or Nebraska. I'm also frequently in the Kansas City or Minneapolis/St. Paul areas as well if there is anyone from around there...

Go Cyclones! I bet anyone reasonably skillful and enterprising (not describing myself:) could make a killing servicing all of the lockouts from drunken college students and the like in your area. Forgive me for being slow (and new to LP101 to boot), but what products and/or services are you advertising?

I think he was looking for other Locksport enthusiasts to start a group. (Just a guess, 'cause this is the Locksport Local forum. :) )

OK, I am appropriately humbled......At least, now I know what is meant by the term 'locksport'. Here, I had the ridiculous notion that he/she was a travelling sales rep of locksmithing/lockpicking equipment. Thanks DB

Apparently my roll in life is to humble people. That's never really my intention, but it seems to have happened a lot lately. Perhaps that's a sign that I've lost all sense of tact? :)

I am willing to push a few of Omikron's new bump hammers, more or less because he is a friend of mine, but DB is right I was just looking for other locksports folks. I just like meeting/haning out with people who are generally interested in the same things I am.

I don't think this is the right place to be asking this question and I'm pretty sure that you can't assign your self an "avatar". If you are talking about your sig then I don't think it is a problem seeing as how some of the members with a large number of posts do it (Please correct me if I'm wrong).
