how do you take pins out of a lock?

As far as security pins go, most pinning kits that would be widely available would be for common household lock brands (ie Kwikset, Schlage, etc). Those lock models don't tend to have security pins. Locks that do have security pins like Best and Sargent and so on are generally for commercial applications and less commonly used and therefore less widely available on a hobbyist oriented site like lockpicks.com

Not all Best locks have security pins, in fact very few do. Best does (did?) not put them in standard, its a special request item.

Ah. My bad. Thanks for correcting me. Still though, the locks that DO have security pins are almost always in a commercial application and that was more the point i was getting at.
