well i dont think anyone here will dispute you own the lock for 3 reasons

1 you have it in your hand open

2 it looks brand new

3 i cant think of another reason... give me awile it will come to me

at any rate that looks similar to the masterlock 930 (i think dont hold me to that) i believe it may have spool pins... dont hold me to that either.

all in all it may very well be a tricky lock to pick but you may want to wait for someone that has a bit more experience with this lock then me.

That being said there is a thread recently on "spool picking theory" here

viewtopic.php?t=15728

has some good information and you may want to read through it in case it does have spools.

also there is a neat diagram here that shows why spools are harder to pick

http://deviating.net/lockpicking/02.05- ... nding.html

it looks impossible from the diagram but the thread i linked to goes into the method of how they can be defeated.... believe me its not THAT bad once you get a feel for it.

4 reasons. The lock is open. There are a few spool pins in this one for sure. I had one in the past and there were spools in the 1st, 3rd and 4th pins. The keyway is a bit difficult but you will get around it.
If all fails, use nitroglycerine.

i was just making shure that you knew :p and thanks for the advice. In a little ill remove the core and look at it, and remove a few pins, and practice on the lock.
