I haven't seen anything for as cheap as $6 dollars, but I found a repinnable padlock at Wal-Mart for around $10-$13 dollars, but the thing that really attracted me to this lock was that it came with 28 pins for repinning, and the allen wrench for removing the core and a key decoder so you could match it to your house key. I saw two keyways: Kwikset KW1 and Schlage SC1. It is a five six pin core, but only uses five pins, but note something important: it has security pins in it. I believe that it has around four of Brinks' style spool-serrerated pin combo pins. Yes, it's made by Brinks. It was the lock that I started to learn to pick security pins on. And it's rated "Maximum" on Brink's security rating system, so you know what that means. Big ego boost when you pop it open
Good luck.
