Euro cylinder rekey

Hey, i was wondering if you guys can give me a bit of detail on how to take apart a Euro Cylinder, i have a couple to rekey, i understand you need a special tool - give me a name (Im gonna buy the tool) and a detailed description on how to take it apart. Thanks guys

For stripping and building euro, oval and rim cylinders, 5 & 6 pin in the evva range. Have also used it for other brands.

Yesterday I rekeyed my first Euro-Cylinder - actually it was half a cylinder (broken off by a locksmith in an emergency opening) I had picked it about 500 times and it was so easy it got boring. So I decided to put in a security pin for a change. As you normally cannot use a plug follower in a euro-cylinder I bent a strip of windscreen wiper blade as a pin holder
looks roughly like that from aside:

you push it in to prevent the driver pins from popping out when you remove the round cylinder part. If you have to change drivers, you just carefully pull it back with a tool inserted to grab the pin and slowly take it out. If you are careful enough, the spring stays in its place.

Now I got a torpedo-style pin in it and will swap to a spool next time I repin it.
