so i messed up my 20$ lock

so i messed up my 20$ lock

i put the core back in the wrong way so its under these tabs

its my poor pain skills but anyway this is what it kinda looks like

i don't have any drills so i cant drill it

Do you have the correct key ?

Try cutting a notch in the key where it hits the "Tabs" so the key can turn fully. Yuo may have to get a new key when you are done , but cheeper than a new lock

Is the plug locked into the shell, or is it still free spinning? Perhaps a screw driver will allow you to rotate the plug. I can't imagine it locking any other way than proper.

well since i did not get it open i got pissed off and i used my grinder and i got off the plate that keeps the core in place ill use it as a practice lock.

Same goes with HE's but I still use picks.... rrrrrr ummmmmm i mean... I pick locks because I have no other method of opening them...
