I believe these are in fact KABA Gemini, can anyone tell from the key? I bought one just in case.. it's hard to find Gemini's around here..

the LORI KABA were meant for USA mortice and rim type locks.

She seems to have an endless supply of these things. Great prices, but you'll need to either buy several or find a source of Gemini pins. AFAIK, everyone who's bought from her (including me) gets a lock without a full set of stacks. They're still a good deal, but not that big a picking challenge.

Thank you very much for that info. that might explain why I picked eric343's gemini in 20 seconds... how many out of the 15 stacks are full?

either way, its a good lock for my collection.

thanks again for that heads up,

Squelchtone

Well, I'll be able to put two together, at least. ;)

Keep in mind that alot of times these locks do not have all pin stacks filled in a normal keyed lock. Sometimes when you find some that are fully pinned, they are part of a positional masterkey system.

It could be that the locks she has if they are not new were part of a positional master system and were low-mid level locks.

I'm a slacker and I haven't gotten around to pulling one apart, but I believe I felt five stacks with the pick. And I hope they're new (or at least "unused" since the boxes they come in are a little worn), because that's how she's listing them...

You will be surprised that there are likely more than 5 stacks are in there when you do pull the lock apart
